WarmzBord TILE
The low-build underfloor heating overlay for tiled floors in retrofit projects.
WarmzBord TILE is a low-build underfloor heating overlay system designed for retrofit projects with existing floors. At just 16mm thick, it allows underfloor heating to be added over an existing floor with minimal build-up height, and is purpose-made for tiled floor finishes bonded directly to the panel.
Each 1200 × 600mm panel is manufactured from a high compressive strength extruded (XPS) insulation core with reinforced mortar faces. Pre-routed channels at 150mm spacing fully recess the 12mm PERT pipe, protecting it from foot traffic, tools and dropped materials during installation. Where flow and return runs are needed, channels can be hand-routed on site, and the loop design allows pipe to be installed in multiple directions.
The integrated insulation core directs heat upward into the room and reduces downward heat loss, while the panels are easy to trim with a fine-tooth saw for a fast, clean installation. The system suits low-temperature heat sources and delivers a heat output of 103 W/m² with tiles bonded directly to the panel (at 50/43°C flow/return and 20°C room temperature).
WarmzBord TILE is suitable for tiled floor finishes only, bonded directly to the panel with a flexible adhesive suitable for underfloor heating. Once the pipework has been pressure tested, tiles are laid straight over the panels. The system is manufactured to BS EN 1264 and BS EN 13164:2012.
