WarmzBord DECK LT®
The flexible structural underfloor heating system for timber suspended floors.
WarmzBord DECK LT combines the simplicity of a traditional timber floor with the efficiency and comfort of low-temperature underfloor heating. Designed for installation directly over joists or battens, DECK LT replaces conventional floor decking while providing a robust, dry-construction solution suitable for both new build and renovation projects.
At its core is a 22mm moisture-resistant routed chipboard panel with aluminium heat diffusers bonded directly to the surface. The pipe sits fully recessed within the board, protecting it during installation while ensuring efficient heat transfer and even floor temperatures. A simple 6mm plywood deck, supplied separately, completes the floor structure, allowing installers to use readily available materials while maintaining maximum flexibility.
WarmzBord DECK LT provides all the benefits of a structural underfloor heating floor in a more economical package. Suitable for joist centres up to 600mm, it eliminates the need for screeds and wet trades, making installation clean, straightforward and fast. The system is compatible with a wide range of floor finishes including wood, laminate, vinyl, carpet and tile, and is designed to work efficiently with low-temperature heat sources, including modern heat pumps.
Unlike many systems, DECK LT offers a clear upgrade path. Should requirements change in the future, WarmzBord DECK printed cover panels can be added retrospectively without replacing the structural base. These cement fibre covers incorporate thick 200-micron aluminium diffusers and PipeSure® location technology, providing enhanced heat transfer and allowing the exact position of the pipe beneath to be clearly identified. This reduces the risk of accidental pipe damage during floor fixing and provides the same visible pipe location and performance benefits found in the full WarmzBord DECK® system.
